I’m sorry to hear about
your swan-song’s dress rehearsal –
the implications are like, totally
just as bad as you say they are.

Just get some sleep –
you’ll feel better later.

You can’t sleep? Symptoms
of depression, you say?
You sure? Well, I’ve got
just the thing for that.

You should talk it out –
you’ll feel better later.

What? Talking makes you feel
isolated? It reinforces how like,
nobody knows the “real” you, right? Right.
This might help:

Try writing it out –
you’ll feel better later.

Writing makes you cry? Too
honest, too real for you to take?
Like the words on the page are
screaming at you? …really?

Why not distract yourself with fun –
you’ll feel better later.

You can’t get it out of your head.
You just can’t get away from it.
None of these have helped.
You’re still sad.

…ever thought that maybe you’re just a
gutless, pathetic, wuss?

Here: go tell the other like-minded masses –
you’ll Feel better.
